Senior Electrical Aircraft Technician – H125 Final Assembly Line (Contract)

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a Senior Electrical Aircraft Technician to join the H125 Final Assembly Line team in Columbus, MS. The position involves assembling, installing, repairing, and replacing aircraft electrical and electronic components while supporting helicopter-specific programs and ensuring compliance with FAA regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform assembly, installation, repair or replacement of aircraft electrical/electronic components and systems during manufacturing.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, vendor and service manuals to obtain dimensions, locations, tolerances and other specifications.
• Use a variety of hand tools, power equipment, measuring devices and test equipment to complete assignments.
• Ensure completed work complies with FAA regulations, customer requirements and company specifications.
• Coordinate with multiple departments for materials, supplies, equipment and job scheduling.
• Maintain accurate forms and records related to the work performed.

Required profile

• Minimum six years of experience working on avionics in aircraft, preferably rotorcraft.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches and diagrams and apply standard shop practices.
• Proficiency in English (read, write, speak) and familiarity with common aviation tooling.
