About the role
Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Senior Electrical Aircraft Technician to join the H125 Final Assembly Line team in Columbus, MS. You will work on assigned aircraft or parts within the avionics function, performing fabrication, repair, installation and functional checks of electrical and electronic components.
Key responsibilities
- Perform assembly, installation, repair or replacement of aircraft electrical/electronic components and systems during manufacturing.
- Maintain close coordination with lead personnel regarding schedules, part availability and special instructions.
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, vendor and service manuals to obtain dimensions, tolerances and alignment requirements.
- Use standard and specialized hand tools, power equipment, measuring devices and test equipment to complete assignments.
- Ensure work complies with FAA regulations, customer requirements and company specifications.
- Coordinate material, supply and equipment needs with various departments and complete related documentation.
Required profile
- Minimum six years of avionics experience on aircraft, preferably rotorcraft.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches and diagrams and apply standard shop practices.
- Independent assessment of wiring issues and component installation.
- Fluent in English (read, write, speak).
- Familiarity with common aviation tooling.
- US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. citizen, green‑card holder or covered by existing ITAR license).

- Blueprint and schematic reading.
- Use of hand and power tools for aircraft maintenance.
- Operation of test and measuring equipment.
