Senior Director of Software Engineering – SaaS Platform

About the role

Reconstruct is seeking a Senior Director of Software Engineering to lead the SaaS platform behind its Visual Command Center, an AI‑driven solution that tracks the lifecycle of large capital assets worldwide. The role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on coding to shape a global product used across six continents.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the software development team, champion best‑in‑class practices, and stay hands‑on with code.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, the CEO and go‑to‑market teams to architect and deliver SaaS and mobile solutions for a global customer base.
• Drive roadmaps, operational plans, and agile/scrum execution to meet delivery commitments.
• Report progress, quality, and system performance to executive management and resolve customer‑impacting issues swiftly.

Required profile

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of software development experience, including at least five years in cloud environments.
• 5+ years leading agile teams and implementing full DevOps practices.
• Proven ability to manage multiple teams, meet aggressive release schedules, and inspire a high‑performing engineering culture.
