Senior Director, Medical Education & Training

About the role

Advitaortho is seeking a senior leader to shape and deliver world‑class professional product training, sales development, and medical education programs for its Extremities portfolio. The role will drive surgeon proficiency, product adoption, and commercial growth across Shoulder, Foot & Ankle, and Advanced Surgical Technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the subject‑matter expert for Advita’s Extremities product lines and clinical procedures, delivering clear instruction to internal teams and healthcare professionals.
• Design and execute a comprehensive commercial training strategy, including onboarding, role‑based learning, and certification for internal staff and external sales agents.
• Partner with Marketing, Commercial leadership, and Field Sales to identify capability gaps and create targeted training programs.
• Support new product launches with detailed training and field‑readiness plans.
• Develop and manage a global medical education program, coordinating surgeon courses, cadaver labs, fellowships, roadshows, workshops, and digital learning experiences.
• Establish consistent curriculum standards, certification requirements, and measurable KPIs to assess training effectiveness and commercial readiness.

Required profile

• Extensive expertise in Advita’s Extremities product lines and related clinical procedures.
• Proven experience leading commercial training and medical education initiatives within the medical device sector.
• Strong ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Marketing, Commercial leadership, and Field Sales.
• Track record of developing scalable training resources (live, virtual, on‑demand) and measuring their impact.
