Senior Director HR, SPG Central Functions

About the role

The Senior Director, HR Business Partner leads the HR partnership for SPG’s Central Functions – Engineering, Operations, Strategy, and Corporate Quality – based in Santa Clara, CA. This senior‑level role shapes organization design, talent strategy, and workforce decisions across multiple functions while leading a global team of HR Business Partners.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior executives to embed HR perspective in business and functional planning.
• Leverage workforce and business data to provide insight, anticipate risks, and guide executive decisions.
• Design organization structures, global workforce plans, and succession strategies for Central Functions.
• Lead cross‑functional change initiatives such as restructuring, integration, and workforce transitions.
• Develop and hold accountable a global team of HR Business Partners, ensuring consistent execution standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Organizational Psychology or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years progressive HR experience, including strategic partnership to senior leaders in a large, global matrixed organization.
• Proven experience leading and developing a global team of HR Business Partners, including Director‑level roles.
• Track record shaping organization design, workforce planning, and talent strategy across engineering, operations, strategy, and quality functions.
• Strong analytical capability with experience using workforce and business data to influence executive decisions.
