Senior Director, Biostatistics

About the role

Beeline Medicines is seeking a Senior Director of Biostatistics to provide strategic statistical leadership across its clinical development portfolio. This senior scientific leader will own statistical strategy, trial design, and methodology for early‑ and late‑phase programs while helping to expand the broader Biometrics function.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute statistical strategies for Phase I‑III clinical programs, ensuring scientific rigor and regulatory defensibility.
• Lead the creation and review of trial designs, statistical analysis plans, randomization schemes, and statistical sections of protocols.
• Serve as the senior statistical expert in regulatory interactions, contributing to submissions and agency meetings.
• Drive quantitative development strategy, influencing trial design decisions and overall program direction.
• Mentor and grow the Biometrics team, enhancing functional capabilities and best practices.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in biostatistics within a clinical‑stage biotechnology or pharmaceutical environment.
• Proven track record of leading statistical work on early and late‑phase trials and successful regulatory submissions.
• Strong scientific independence and ability to act as a strategic partner across functions.
• Leadership presence with experience managing senior‑level statistical teams.
