About the role
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises, helping to restore health, safety, education, economic wellbeing, and power to people devastated by conflict and disaster. Founded in 1933 at the call of Albert Einstein, the IRC is one of the world’s largest international humanitarian NGOs, operating in more than 40 countries and 29 U.S. cities. The Senior Development Manager will lead resource development, communications, and volunteer management for the IRC’s San Diego office, which includes locations in San Diego and El Cajon, and will play a key part in advancing the organization’s mission.
Key responsibilities
- Lead resource development initiatives for the San Diego office.
- Oversee communications strategies to engage donors and the public.
- Manage volunteer programs across the San Diego and El Cajon locations.
- Own donor relationships and stewardship activities.
