Senior Data Analyst

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join its Capital Markets Product & Business, Data & Analytics team. You will lead the design, development, and delivery of reporting and analytics solutions that support executive decision‑making across Counterparty Relations, Securities Lending, Governance, Syndicate and other capital‑markets functions.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end analytics projects, from requirements gathering to data sourcing, modeling, visualization and stakeholder presentation.
• Design, build and maintain Power BI semantic models, dashboards and automated reporting pipelines using SQL, Python and Snowflake.
• Act as primary liaison for capital‑markets business stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Identify data gaps, develop scalable automation solutions and improve data architecture.
• Expand and maintain the team’s reporting portfolio to meet evolving business needs.
• Mentor junior analysts, provide code reviews and structured feedback.
• Conduct ad‑hoc analyses and support special projects that advance capital‑markets objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data analytics, preferably within a financial or capital‑markets environment.
• Strong ability to work independently and deliver high‑quality results with minimal oversight.
