Senior Consulting Project Manager

About the role

Autodesk is seeking a Senior Consulting Project Manager to lead transformation projects for strategic customers. The role involves managing multiple medium‑to‑large consulting engagements, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Project manage consulting initiatives such as data migrations, software development, and training programs.
• Lead internal and external team members to achieve project goals.
• Maintain communication across account and project teams and facilitate project review meetings.
• Translate project scope and vision into clear, actionable goals.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and control tools using standard PM and PSA software.
• Comply with internal reporting standards and practices.
• Analyze project plans, assess risks, and create mitigation strategies.
• Support sales and business development by drafting proposals, scopes of work, and delivery estimates.
• Build strong client and stakeholder relationships and ensure effective communication.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of project management experience, preferably in professional services or consulting.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• PMP or PMI qualification (or equivalent).
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and deliver projects within cost and schedule constraints.
• Experience reviewing and writing scopes of work and project documentation.
• Coaching and leadership skills with a collaborative, inclusive mindset.
