Senior Community Manager – The Iris

About the role

This role oversees the day‑to‑day operations of two or more assigned apartment communities, managing staff, budgets, and resident experience to meet financial and operational goals. The Senior Community Manager ensures compliance with company policies, Fair Housing, ADA, and other regulations while driving occupancy and revenue performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage property budgets, analyze financial statements, and monitor performance against targets.
• Set rent rates, collect payments, prepare deposits, and produce monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate with accounting.
• Oversee lease enforcement, application approvals, renewals, inspections, evictions, and fee collections.
• Analyze market trends and implement leasing strategies to achieve occupancy goals.
• Respond to resident inquiries, resolve service issues, and ensure maintenance team compliance.
• Conduct regular property inspections to maintain safety, cleanliness, and appearance standards.
• Hire, train, and supervise property staff, managing performance according to company policies.
• Maintain owner relationships through regular updates, tours, and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4–6 years of property management, sales, marketing, and customer service experience.
• Strong communication, conflict‑resolution, and customer‑service abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property‑management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using internet, spreadsheet, and database‑management tools.
