Senior Clinical Reviewer – Dermatology AI

About the role

Gramian Consultancy is seeking an experienced academic dermatologist to join a four‑week contractor project focused on building high‑quality clinical datasets for AI research in dermatology. The role is remote, US‑based, and involves providing expert clinical reasoning and structured evaluations for complex dermatology cases.

Key responsibilities

• Lead senior‑level clinical review of complex dermatology cases.
• Provide structured, guideline‑aligned clinical reasoning and commentary.
• Resolve clinical disagreements across reviewer groups.
• Contribute to the development of evaluation frameworks and methodologies for AI systems.
• Support AI model evaluation through expert advisory sessions.
• Document findings with high clinical defensibility.
• Collaborate with peer reviewers and research stakeholders while adhering to project protocols.

Required profile

• Board‑certified in Dermatology (American Board of Dermatology) with an active US medical license.
• Faculty appointment (Assistant Professor or higher) at an accredited US institution.
• Minimum three years of post‑residency clinical experience and active practice.
• Subspecialty training in dermatopathology, Mohs, pediatric, or complex medical dermatology.
• Publication record in peer‑reviewed dermatology journals.

Required skills

• Structured clinical writing and reasoning.
• Experience with peer‑reviewed dermatology research.
• Familiarity with AI evaluation frameworks in healthcare.
