Senior Android Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Android Software Engineer to join Verily’s mobile apps team, building the flagship consumer product that delivers personalized health experiences. In this role you will work at the intersection of technology, data science, and healthcare to create high‑impact, regulated Android applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, launch and maintain critical user‑facing features in Verily’s core Android app.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with mobile, backend, frontend, UX, product, test and quality engineering teams.
• Align with iOS engineers to ensure cross‑platform consistency and improve developer productivity.
• Work closely with product, UX and quality teams to define requirements, design mocks and implement regulatory protocols.

Required profile

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Native Android development experience using Kotlin.

• US base salary $191,000 – $215,000 per year.
