Senior Android Engineer, iRAD

About the role

Robinhood’s iRAD team is shaping the next generation of investing experiences across retirement, advisory, recurring investments and recommendations. As a Senior Android Engineer you will design and deliver high‑impact mobile features that help millions of users discover, open, manage and grow their accounts on the Robinhood platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement intuitive, scalable Android experiences using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose and modern Android APIs.
• Own the full product feature lifecycle—from ideation and technical design through implementation, testing and release.
• Lead complex Android work across shared product surfaces, onboarding flows and deep‑link handling.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers and data teams to ensure quality, performance and safety.
• Make architectural decisions that support cross‑team compatibility, scalability and security.

Required profile

• Senior‑level Android engineer with a proven track record of shipping production‑grade mobile applications.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to lead end‑to‑end feature development.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, high‑performing team that values ethics and impact.
• Willingness to work on‑site in New York City or Menlo Park at least three days per week.
