Senior Android Engineer – Consumer Health App

About the role

Verily Health is building a data‑driven precision‑health platform. The Senior Android Engineer will join the mobile apps team to develop and maintain Verily’s flagship consumer product that delivers personalized health experiences to users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, launch and maintain critical user‑facing features in the Android app.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with mobile, backend, frontend, UX, product, test and quality engineering teams.
• Align with iOS engineers to ensure cross‑platform consistency and improve developer productivity.
• Work closely with product, UX and quality to define requirements, design mocks and implement regulatory protocols.

Required profile

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Native Android development experience using Kotlin.
