About the role

Join BASF Agricultural Solutions as a Senior Agronomic Sales Advisor in South Dakota, driving demand for seed, crop protection, and seed‑treatment products while acting as a trusted agronomic advisor to growers.

Key responsibilities

• Create demand for BASF seed, crop protection and seed‑treatment products and serve as a primary agronomic advisor.
• Develop and execute territory plans, partnering with retailers and internal teams to achieve sales and agronomic goals.
• Manage sales forecasts, product positioning and revenue targets, ensuring accurate demand planning.
• Build strong relationships with growers, sales teams, technical service reps and strategic account managers.
• Lead market strategies, product launches and growth plans to identify opportunities and drive long‑term performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with knowledge of agronomics, seed varieties and chemistry.
• 5+ years of sales experience in agronomy and 8+ years overall experience.
• Strong business acumen, agronomic expertise and ability to work collaboratively.
• Proven ability to engage across the business and deliver results.
