RH Strategic is seeking a Senior Account Executive in Public Relations to join its Washington, D.C. office. The role is ideal for professionals with 4‑6 years of agency experience who want to shape integrated communications programs and deepen client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Secure top‑tier media placements across print, digital, and broadcast platforms.
• Lead day‑to‑day execution of integrated communications programs, ensuring high‑quality deliverables and measurable progress.
• Develop and execute media‑relations strategies, including story identification, pitch creation, and relationship building with reporters and editors.
• Translate complex client priorities into clear messaging that supports business goals.
• Manage projects, workstreams, and cross‑functional teams to meet deadlines, budgets, and scope while maintaining quality.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of public relations or strategic communications experience, including at least 2 years in a PR agency.
• Deep understanding of the media landscape with current relationships across national and influential outlets.
• Proven ability to craft compelling narratives for technology, workforce development, and education sectors.
• Experience developing media strategies, interview preparation, executive talking points, and crisis communications.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
