Senior Account Associate – Commercial Insurance (Transportation)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Account Associate to support our Commercial Insurance line focused on transportation. The role provides administrative and customer‑service assistance to the account team, producers and a portfolio of transportation accounts, ensuring high‑quality service and compliance with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Account Manager/Executive in directing daily workflow of support staff.
• Track policy expirations, process renewals, endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements and related documentation.
• Conduct client research, gather underwriting data, perform loss‑run analysis and prepare submissions and proposals.
• Review contracts to confirm appropriate coverages and negotiate terms.
• Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on delinquent balances and manage billing inquiries.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier platforms, ensuring data accuracy.
• Communicate workload status and issues to the account team and deliver proactive service.
• Stay current on internal policies and seek continuous improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Experience in commercial lines insurance, preferably transportation.
• Ability to resolve moderately complex customer service issues independently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Commitment to integrity and company values.

Required skills

• Proficiency with agency management and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Knowledge of policy processing (endorsements, renewals, cancellations).
• Understanding of loss‑run analysis and underwriting documentation.
