Senior 3D Electrical Designer

About the role

Revamp Engineering is looking for a Senior 3D Electrical Designer to lead the creation and coordination of 3D models for utility‑scale battery energy storage (BESS) and solar PV projects. Your models will become the construction drawings that crews rely on, directly influencing project schedules and commercial readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and maintain complex 3D models of BESS and PV systems using Autodesk Inventor.
• Produce production‑ready representations of inverters, transformers, switchgear, cable management, equipment pads, racking, and balance‑of‑system components.
• Advise project teams on electrical layout, cable routing, conduit coordination, equipment clearances, grounding, and interconnections.
• Resolve spatial conflicts and constructability issues across civil, structural, and mechanical disciplines.
• Generate and approve sheet sets, technical drawings, details, and renderings derived from the 3D models.
• Set modeling standards, templates, and libraries; drive automation and workflow improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or associate's degree in engineering, design, drafting/CADD, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of engineering or technical design experience, with at least 3 years using Autodesk Inventor for 3D infrastructure design.
• Proven ability to lead multiple concurrent projects and provide technical direction to other designers.
