Security Specialist (TS/SCI) – Part-Time

About the role

Connexus Hub is seeking a Security Specialist to support government and Fortune 500 clients on a part‑time basis. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph and involves both physical and personnel security responsibilities during a 14:00‑18:00 schedule, Monday through Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Perform physical security walkthroughs and inspections of facilities.
• Conduct security indoctrinations, schedule polygraphs, investigate violations, and manage clearance investigations and fingerprint submissions.
• Program and verify security badges within 24 hours of request.
• Provide visitor escort services and front‑desk support for visitor control.
• Participate in meetings as a subject‑matter expert on security matters.
• Conduct final security walkthroughs during facility closing.

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or 4+ years relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years of administrative and physical security experience for a government agency.
• At least 2 years in a customer‑support role.
• Familiarity with JPAS DISS and Scattered Castles systems.

Required skills

• Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) knowledge, including UL 2050 certified IDS.
• Experience with government‑approved security devices, safes, storage containers, locks and locking systems.
• Personnel entry control system expertise.
• Working knowledge of JPAS DISS and Scattered Castles.
