Security Site Supervisor

About the role

Allied Universal, a global security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Site Supervisor in North Charleston, SC. The supervisor oversees the professional operation, administration, profitability and quality of uniformed security services for a client's site, working morning and afternoon shifts on Fridays through Thursdays. Starting base pay is $24 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the on-site security function, including staffing, scheduling and on-site training of Allied Universal personnel assigned to the site
• Ensure contract-required training and screening for security personnel are completed
• Maintain overtime to a minimum or preset requirement set by the employer
• Inspect security personnel and their performance regularly to ensure quality of service and contract compliance
• Handle payroll, review and maintain incident reports, and help prepare security surveys and post orders
• Give direction to subordinates, make recommendations on personnel actions, and handle disciplinary or commendation decisions
• Respond to client requests, make emergency notifications according to site Post Orders, and recommend productivity and cost-reduction measures to management

Required profile

• At least 21 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent, and ability to pass state licensing training and tests (including a driving test if operating a company or client vehicle)
• One year of verifiable supervisory experience in the security industry, or an associate's degree or higher
• Preferred: service in the active-duty military, military reserves or National Guard, or auxiliary police
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet; resume preferred
