Security Engineer – Corporate IT

About the role

Resolution is building a Corporate IT and Security function from the ground up to support frontier AI research. You will own the security posture for a fast‑growing, high‑stakes research organization and enable secure collaboration with external AI labs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a Zero‑Trust Identity and Access Management (IAM) framework for staff, collaborators, and automated research agents.
• Secure communications, email, and collaborative workflows against state‑level threats, including phishing protection.
• Act as the bridge between research needs and external lab security requirements, guiding audits and compliance for frontier model access.

Required profile

• Hands‑on operator with strong technical background, comfortable configuring systems and scripting automation.
• Experience building an IT or security function from scratch in an early‑stage, high‑risk environment.
• Ability to translate technical security requirements into plain language for researchers and leadership.

Required skills

• Zero‑Trust architecture and IAM implementation.
• Email security, phishing protection, and secure collaboration tools.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
• Scripting/automation experience and willingness to use AI tools responsibly.
