Security Engineer – AI Platform

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Security Engineer to lead AI platform security across the company. In this customer‑facing role you will partner with internal teams to enable safe, self‑service AI while establishing robust governance, guardrails, and visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and harden AI‑powered applications, agents, and automations on cloud platforms with secure‑by‑default architecture.
• Educate teams on safe AI usage, define company‑wide standards, and provide guidance on best practices.
• Own AI governance, including inventory, monitoring, logging, and data‑loss‑prevention for sensitive and customer data.
• Implement AI guardrails, treat AI agents as identities with least‑privilege access, and manage model and agent permissions.
• Collaborate across departments to translate business needs into reliable, production‑grade AI solutions.

Required profile

• Strong background in security engineering, preferably with experience securing AI or cloud‑based platforms.
• Excellent communication skills to work closely with cross‑functional teams and educate non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to define and enforce security policies, governance frameworks, and monitoring processes.
• Self‑starter attitude with a focus on delivering production‑ready, compliant solutions.
