Security and Compliance Manager

About the role

Clinically AI is seeking a Security and Compliance Manager to own the day‑to‑day operation of its compliance program, keeping frameworks audit‑ready, policies current, and workforce systems secure as the company scales rapidly.

Key responsibilities

• Own the compliance platform of record, managing frameworks such as SOC2 Type II, HIPAA, NIST, and related controls, tests, policies and integrations.
• Continuously monitor compliance tests, triage failures, remediate directly where possible and drive owners to resolution.
• Maintain and update security policies, procedures and system documentation, ensuring they are reviewed and acknowledged on schedule.
• Coordinate external audits (SOC2, HIPAA, ISO, etc.) end‑to‑end, handling auditor communication, evidence collection and remediation plans.
• Administer Google Workspace (user lifecycle, access controls, 2FA/SSO enforcement, audit log reviews) and manage MDM to keep all endpoints encrypted, patched and compliant.
• Track risk through assessments and the risk register, leading mitigation planning with stakeholders.

Required profile

• Hands‑on remediation mindset – treat failing compliance tests as to‑do items and drive them to closure.
• Strong operational rigor with accurate, up‑to‑date policies and continuous evidence collection.
• Fluency in Google Workspace and MDM administration, including user lifecycle and endpoint compliance.
• Effective cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, product and leadership.
• High ownership mindset suitable for a fast‑scaling startup environment.

Required skills

• Experience with compliance automation platforms (e.g., Vanta, Drata, Secureframe).
• Deep knowledge of SOC2 Type II, HIPAA and other frameworks (NIST, HITRUST, ISO27001).
• Administration of Google Workspace in a business setting.
• Management of MDM solutions such as Kandji, Jamf or Mosyle.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably GCP.
• Identity and access tooling experience (SSO/SAML, Okta, Google Cloud Identity).

• Base salary $110,000–$165,000 plus equity.
