Secondary Math & Data Literacy Curriculum Specialist

About the role

Tuva is a leading K-12 data literacy company that partners with schools and districts worldwide. The Secondary Math & Data Literacy Curriculum Specialist will design engaging, data-driven activities and resources that align with state and national standards, helping educators integrate Tuva’s tools into their instruction.

Key responsibilities

• Design creative, standards-aligned data-based activities for secondary mathematics.
• Create example guides, video tutorials, and detailed walkthroughs to support teachers using Tuva’s platform.
• Engage with a global community of math educators to embed Tuva into classroom practice.
• Develop and enhance online and in-person professional development and train-the-trainer programs.
• Initiate partnerships with academic institutions, research organizations, and community groups to promote foundational data literacy concepts.

Required profile

• Hold a BS, MS, PhD, or Ed.M in Math Education, Curriculum Design, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of foundational data analysis and statistics concepts.
• 3–5 years of successful classroom experience teaching middle-school or high-school mathematics.
• Demonstrated ability to create cross-disciplinary curriculum integrating multiple subject areas.
• Excellent communication skills with educators, partners, and team members.
• Passion for online learning and empowering educators to deliver memorable experiences.
