Seasonal Rooftop Host

About the role

Arlo Hotels is seeking a dynamic, guest‑focused host to lead the rooftop experience during the busy season from early April to mid‑September. As the first and last point of contact, you will set the tone for an unforgettable stay.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and greet all guests, recognize regular and VIP visitors.
• Check guests in, escort them to tables, present menus, and ensure a smooth seating flow.
• Handle reservations, phone inquiries, and confirm bookings one day in advance.
• Manage the OpenTable reservation system, including opening and closing side work.
• Address guest complaints, coordinate with management, and ensure timely resolution.
• Process credit‑card authorizations, maintain accurate receipts, and forward lost‑and‑found items.
• Communicate table status, wait times, and special requests to the maître d’ and sales team.
• Maintain a professional appearance, a warm smile, and a courteous demeanor at all times.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Ability to remain calm and solution‑oriented under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Professional appearance and a positive, welcoming attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the OpenTable reservation system.
