Seasonal Registered Nurse – PCU Night Shift

About the role

Seasonal Registered Nurse position in the Patient Care Unit (PCU) at Vail Health Hospital, working night shifts (12‑hour) from October/November through April. The role provides compassionate, patient‑ and family‑centered care in a state‑of‑the‑art 56‑bed facility with stunning mountain views and a strong orthopedic case load. Key responsibilities

• Deliver bedside nursing care and collaborative team rounding in the PCU during night shifts.
• Coordinate in‑room physical and occupational therapy to enhance patient outcomes.
• Maintain high standards of safety and quality, including coverage of rotating weekends and holidays.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse license in Colorado or a compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (minimum); Bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience in PCU or Med‑Surg nursing preferred.
