About the role

Join Vail Health Hospital for a seasonal full‑time night shift as a Registered Nurse in the Patient Care Unit (PCU). The position runs from October/November through April, allowing you to work in a world‑class mountain setting while delivering orthopedic and med‑surg care.

Key responsibilities

Provide bedside nursing care and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team during rounding.
Facilitate in‑room physical and occupational therapy to improve patient outcomes.
Maintain patient safety and documentation in a fast‑paced, 12‑hour night shift environment.

Required profile

Registered Nurse license in Colorado or a compact state.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferable experience in PCU or Med‑Surg nursing.
Associate Degree in Nursing (minimum) for hires after 07/01/2018.
