Seasonal Registered Nurse – Observation/ CDU

About the role

Kingman Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse to work in the Observation/Clinical Decision Unit (CDU). The RN will deliver compassionate, evidence‑based nursing care under the direction of physicians and in compliance with the Arizona State Nurse Practice Act. The role includes patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide evidence‑based nursing care to prevent healthcare‑acquired conditions and readmissions.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient responses, revising care plans as needed.
• Coordinate nursing personnel and ensure quality and patient satisfaction.

Required profile

• Associate Degree in Nursing or graduate of a Nursing Diploma program.
• Current, valid Arizona RN license (or compact state RN license) and BLS certification.
• Minimum five years of nursing experience for full‑time weekend/evening/night shifts, or at least one year in relevant clinical areas for seasonal positions.
• Basic EKG competency within required timeframes and advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) as applicable to the unit.
