Search Engine Optimization Specialist

About the role

Elevated Audience is seeking a passionate Search Engine Optimization Specialist to drive organic growth for its diverse client portfolio. The role involves researching, implementing, and analysing SEO tactics under the guidance of the SEO Manager, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth keyword research to uncover content opportunities and optimise existing pages.
• Develop and execute on‑page SEO strategies, including title tags, meta descriptions, header tags and content structure.
• Perform technical SEO audits, resolve 301 redirects, 404 errors, improve site speed and ensure optimal site architecture.
• Utilise tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz and Screaming Frog to audit websites, analyse competitor backlinks and monitor keyword rankings.
• Analyse data from Google Analytics, Search Console and other platforms to identify trends, issues and ROI‑focused insights.
• Produce regular performance reports and maintain project documentation for client accounts.
• Collaborate with Web Design, PPC and Social Media teams to align SEO with broader digital strategies.
• Stay current with algorithm updates and test new SEO tools and techniques.

• Detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple client projects simultaneously.
• Effective communicator who can work within a team and take direction from senior staff.

Required skills

• Keyword research and content strategy.
• On‑page optimisation (title tags, meta descriptions, header tags).
• Technical SEO audits, 301 redirects, 404 error handling, site speed optimisation.
• Proficiency with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz and Screaming Frog.
• Experience using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
