About the role

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Seafood Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team. The role involves promoting and selling a wide range of seafood products, building strong relationships with new and existing customers, and meeting sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.
• Provide expert advice on seafood selection, preparation, and sustainability.
• Respond to inquiries, recommend products, and close sales efficiently.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all seafood offerings, including sourcing, seasonal availability, quality standards, and culinary applications.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market pricing, and competitor offerings to position products effectively.
• Demonstrate unique selling points such as sustainability, freshness, and quality.
• Track sales activities, report performance and customer feedback to management.
• Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports on product sales, inventory levels, and customer trends.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience, preferably in the food or seafood sector.
• Strong knowledge of seafood products, including fish, shellfish, and crustaceans.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team-oriented environment.
• Self-motivated, goal-driven, and committed to customer satisfaction.
• Familiarity with CRM software and basic sales tools.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
• Passion for seafood and sustainability is a plus.
