Storyby is an AI‑native entertainment tech company that turns data‑driven hits into vertical drama for mobile audiences. As a Scriptwriter you will create AI‑generated scripts for short‑form vertical content, shaping story arcs that keep viewers hooked from the first second to the cliffhanger.

Key responsibilities

• Create AI‑generated scripts for vertical drama and short‑form content.
• Develop serialized storylines, building arcs, character development, and episode dramaturgy.
• Craft strong hooks in the opening seconds and cliffhangers at the end of each episode.
• Generate and test new ideas for series, formats, and content mechanics.
• Work with AI tools for scriptwriting, scene generation, and storytelling.
• Produce AI‑generated films using Storyby’s in‑house product.
• Analyze vertical content trends and adapt storytelling practices for a global audience.
• Optimize scripts for retention and binge‑watching behavior.
• Collaborate with product and creative teams to move content into production quickly.

Required profile

• Regular consumer of serialized, short‑form, and vertical content with ability to deconstruct what keeps viewers engaged.
• Understanding of vertical drama and the differences between YouTube storytelling, classic film dramaturgy, and mobile‑first content.
• Ability to build a dynamic structure: hook → conflict → cliffhanger.
• Strong storytelling instincts and awareness of emotional triggers for audiences.
• Genuine passion for AI‑generated content and hands‑on experience with AI tools for text, video, or creative work.
• Experience writing scripts, content, or serialized formats is a strong plus.
