About the role

This position provides nursing care within a school setting, ensuring the health, comfort, and safety of students. It is a PRN (as‑needed) role that supports the school community with compassionate, professional care.

Key responsibilities

Administer nursing care following the Nursing Process and school policies.
Assess student health needs, implement teaching strategies, and evaluate outcomes.
Maintain accurate patient records using computer systems and data‑entry tools.
Collaborate with families, teachers, and healthcare providers to coordinate student care.

Required profile

Current RN license in the state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
No prior work experience required.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Required skills

Computer proficiency for data entry and retrieval of patient information.
Familiarity with Windows‑style applications and role‑specific software.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
