SBU PLM – Product Line Management Lead

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a senior leader to own product line management (PLM) and service product management for its SBU. The role drives margin, roadmap implementation and continuous improvement across global service sites.

Key responsibilities

• Own product line management (PLM) and control, including gross margin management.
• Implement service product roadmaps, MCOS/LCOS management and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Lead continuous improvement programs (CIPs) focusing on technical reliability, commonality and option reduction.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (operations, engineering, sales, marketing, business development) to align pricing, spare levels and part orders.
• Collect customer high‑volume manufacturing (HVM) roadmaps, perform ROI analysis and support service product portfolio decisions.

Required profile

• Recognized technical expert in product line management with broad knowledge of related disciplines.
• Proven ability to lead high‑risk, complex projects and develop execution strategies.
• Strong problem‑solving skills to address unique, business‑wide challenges.
• Effective communicator who can influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment.
