SAP IS-U Consultant – Richardson, TX

About the role

Infosys is seeking an SAP IS-U Consultant to join its SURE (Services, Utilities, Resources, Energy) unit in Richardson, Texas. You will support utility‑focused ERP implementations, helping clients modernize their operations through digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to capture user requirements for ERP projects.
• Collaborate with design teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Develop, customize, and integrate SAP IS-U packages following detailed design specifications.
• Execute data‑migration activities, including field mapping and data cleansing.
• Perform compliance checks to ensure solutions meet industry standards and security protocols.
• Document customization steps and create training materials for end‑users.

Required profile

• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities with an agile mindset.
• Experience working in the utility sector (power, water, gas, district heating).
• Ability to contribute across most phases of ERP package implementation.
• Proactive attitude toward monitoring and resolving production issues.
