SAP Consultant – Digital Transformation

About the role

Gerdau is seeking an experienced SAP Consultant to act as an SAP architect and drive digital transformation across the organization. The role will support business agility, enable strategic initiatives, and serve as the key liaison for functional teams worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement SAP solutions (ECC or S/4HANA) and integrate them with existing IT systems.
• Lead best‑practice development, solution architecture, roadmaps and act as subject‑matter expert for business processes.
• Analyze requirements, create functional specifications, and develop test plans and scripts.
• Provide SAP system support, end‑user training and documentation.
• Identify technology deficiencies, legacy debt and recommend improvement solutions.
• Collaborate with Digital IT service providers, leadership and business peers to deliver enhancements and new investments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years of SAP experience with full‑cycle implementations.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate strategic goals into actionable initiatives.
• Excellent communication, persuasion and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• SAP ERP (ECC or S/4HANA) – modules FI, CO, MM, Ariba, SuccessFactors, OM, PA, PY, SD, WMS, APO/IBP, PP, PM, QM.
• Experience with cloud technologies, big data, APIs and digital architecture.
• Knowledge of Agile, Project Management and Innovation processes.
• Ability to work in an Application Managed Services (AMS) environment.
