Salesforce Data Analyst

About the role

Hands‑on Salesforce Data Analyst needed for the Revenue Operations team of a home‑remodeling business. The role focuses on building reports, dashboards and insights in Salesforce, including Field Service Lightning, to support sales, field operations, scheduling and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit and clarify requirements from non‑technical stakeholders such as sales, project managers, finance and leadership.
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, formulas, validation rules and flows in Salesforce.
• Investigate and resolve data issues, including job and commission discrepancies and duplicate records.
• Deliver insights on metrics like job profitability, technician performance, scheduling efficiency and lead‑to‑install funnels.
• Perform ad‑hoc analysis using SOQL, Data Loader or Excel.
• Maintain data integrity and document solutions.
• Partner with the RevOps Project Manager to prioritize and clear the reporting backlog.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Salesforce reporting and analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in Salesforce reports, dashboards and SOQL.
• Strong requirements‑gathering ability for ambiguous requests.
• Analytical mindset for large datasets and discrepancy resolution.
• Proficiency with Data Loader and advanced Excel (formulas, pivots).
• Excellent communication with non‑technical users.
