Sales Specialist

About the role

Sentral is seeking a Sales Specialist to lead leasing activities and ensure a seamless, customer‑focused experience for residents and guests. The role combines front‑line sales, property marketing, and administrative duties to minimize vacancy and maximize net rent across our communities.

Key responsibilities

• Uphold Sentral’s standards of customer service and company policies.
• Manage daily leasing operations, including advertising available homes, conducting tours, and processing lease applications.
• Maintain accurate records of prospective and current residents in the property‑management software.
• Coordinate move‑in and move‑out processes, accept rent payments, security deposits, and other fees.
• Communicate maintenance needs, address resident inquiries, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing and local regulations.
• Support the Experience team with guest check‑ins, check‑outs, and homeshare initiatives.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• At least one year of customer‑service experience and one year of apartment‑leasing experience (or equivalent combination).
• Strong attention to detail, decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to complete training to stay compliant with applicable laws.
