Sales Representative – Chains (San Luis Obispo)

About the role

We are a specialist in the beer, wine and spirits market seeking a motivated Sales Representative to grow our chain accounts across San Luis Obispo County. The role focuses on building strong relationships with retailers, promoting supplier brands, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Visit assigned accounts daily, following an efficient routing plan.
• Identify sales opportunities, conduct required surveys, and ensure compliance with national account standards.
• Deliver professional sales presentations that highlight new products, placement strategies, and promotional offers.
• Maintain product inventory on shelves where legally permissible and restock as needed.
• Provide brand education through staff training seminars.
• Process credits, returns, and manage receivables in a timely manner.
• Address customer issues, deliver products in special circumstances, and escalate concerns to management.
• Achieve sales, distribution, and volume targets set by management.
• Support new account openings by preparing opening orders with the Field Sales Manager.

Required profile

• Current associate of the company, applying through the internal Career Portal.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for customer visits.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
