Sales Manager – Lead & Develop Account Executives

About the role

Canals is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and develop a team of Account Executives. This hands‑on leadership position combines coaching and mentorship with active involvement in the sales process, helping reps close complex B2B SaaS deals and drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives, setting clear performance expectations.
• Conduct regular pipeline reviews, forecast calls, and deal‑strategy sessions.
• Help reps improve discovery, qualification, demo delivery, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Partner with leadership to establish sales goals, processes, and operating rhythms.
• Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement across the sales organization.
• Participate in recruiting efforts, interview candidates, and attract top sales talent.
• Serve as a trusted resource for reps throughout the sales cycle.

Required profile

• Significant experience selling B2B SaaS solutions.
• Proven track record managing and developing quota‑carrying sales teams.
• Strong coaching ability to help reps exceed performance goals.
• Deep understanding of sales process, pipeline management, forecasting, and deal execution.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and accountability.
