Sales Commission Analyst

About the role

The Sales Commission Analyst owns the commission process for the Interventional Urology field sales organization. Acting as the Xactly subject‑matter expert, the analyst ensures accurate, timely payouts, analyzes plan performance, and partners with People & Culture, sales leadership, commercial excellence, and finance to design and communicate variable‑pay programs that drive the right behaviours.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Xactly, translate commission plan designs into system rules, validate data, generate reports and provide user support.
• Model payout scenarios, assess financial impact of plan changes, support quota setting and communicate projected payouts to finance and sales leaders.
• Manage the end‑to‑end commission payout process, maintain documentation, audit trails and continuously improve policies and controls.
• Research and resolve commission questions, identify automation opportunities and present results, trends and recommendations to leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, analytics or related field.
• 2+ years experience in sales compensation, commission administration or sales operations.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and communication skills with ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Preferred: experience in medical device/healthcare industry, MBA or similar advanced degree.

Required skills

• Xactly (or similar incentive compensation management system).
• Advanced Excel (including complex formulas and modeling).
• Reporting or data‑visualisation tools (e.g., Cognos, Tableau).
• Enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Enterprise One and data‑warehouse structures.
