Sales Analytics Analyst – Category Strategy (NWPB)

About the role

This position supports Nestlé Waters & Premium Beverages (NWPB) as a Sales Analytics Analyst dedicated to the Category Strategy team, turning data into actionable insights that drive growth for premium brands such as San Pellegrino, Maison Perrier, Acqua Panna and Essentia.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Category Strategy leaders to identify growth opportunities by analyzing category trends, consumer behavior, competitive activity and retailer strategies.
• Develop actionable category insights and recommendations that position NWPB brands to win within evolving premium‑beverage trends.
• Monitor category, consumer and competitor performance to proactively identify risks and opportunities influencing brand share and growth.
• Support the creation of category growth strategies and customer‑facing selling stories that demonstrate incremental value for retailers.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 months experience in retail sales or a related analytics environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Teams.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel functions (Xlookups, pivot tables).
• PowerPoint presentation creation.
• Data visualization techniques.
• Experience with syndicated data sources such as Circana or Nielsen.
