Sales Account Executive – Transportation Services

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated Sales Account Executive to join its San Antonio service center. You will be responsible for promoting the company’s industry‑leading transportation services and building strong relationships with customers.

Key responsibilities

• Educate customers on the full range of transportation services offered by R+L Carriers.
• Gain targeted market share in key lanes and pursue key accounts in selected industries.
• Promote market awareness and visibility through presentations, contracts, and proposals.
• Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments within the assigned territory.
• Represent and promote the corporate image and culture.

Required profile

• 2+ years of LTL motor freight sales experience (preferred).
• Strong work ethic and ability to handle valuable customer freight.
• PC literate and comfortable using standard office software.
• Knowledge of the local market; operations knowledge in an LTL environment is a plus.
