Roadway Project Manager

About the role

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Roadway Project Manager to join our team. In this role you will lead the successful delivery of transportation projects from start to finish, managing scope, financial performance, and a multidisciplinary team while building client relationships and supporting business development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team to complete transportation projects and ensure fulfillment of client contracts.
• Establish and monitor project scope and fees, obtaining modifications as required.
• Use project management tools to track tasks, timelines, and stage completions.
• Manage design task assignments, including calculations, plans, and submittals.
• Communicate high‑level concepts with internal teams, clients, subconsultants, and government agencies.
• Coordinate across disciplines to streamline design and minimize revisions.
• Address client needs promptly, resolve conflicts, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Provide constructability reviews and perform independent peer reviews on submittals.
• Build client relationships, identify business opportunities, and maintain client accountability.
• Negotiate and execute contracts in collaboration with finance and legal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical/business field.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience with a broad technical and business background.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Required skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of FDOT processes, procedures, and requirements.
• Demonstrated experience successfully delivering roadway projects in Florida.

• Salary range: $125,100 – $225,200 per year.
