About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Surgical Oncology clinic. This full‑time, day‑shift position provides direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team focused on cancer treatment and recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to surgical oncology patients throughout pre‑operative, intra‑operative, and post‑operative phases.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and allied health professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and manage wound care according to established protocols.
• Educate patients and families on treatment procedures, postoperative care, and symptom management.
• Document all nursing activities accurately in the electronic health record.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of Arkansas.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and high‑quality care.

Required skills
