RN Program Coordinator – Trauma Services

About the role

This position creates and executes project work plans for the Trauma Services program on Kings Highway, revising them as needs change. The coordinator identifies required resources, manages day‑to‑day operations, and keeps the multidisciplinary team informed of progress.

Key responsibilities

• Manage implementation timelines, provide clinical and technical support, and develop site‑specific education and improvement strategies.
• Conduct system and process reviews to identify opportunities for productivity, customer service, and quality improvements.
• Serve as liaison to regulatory agencies and community partners, representing the program at meetings and conferences.
• Lead the team, chair assigned committees, and adapt communication to diverse patient populations.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice with a nursing diploma; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience and at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Required skills

• Proficient computer skills for data entry and retrieval of patient information.
• Ability to use Windows‑style applications and keyboard efficiently.
