RN Professional Practice Evaluation Specialist – Quality Management

About the role

The Quality Management RN Professional Practice Evaluation Specialist is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting FPPE and OPPE data for all privileged and credentialed practitioners. This role works closely with physicians, Medical Staff leadership, and the Senior Director of Quality Management to ensure accurate quality reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze OPPE reports and coordinate the FPPE process with Medical Staff Leadership.
• Review provider cases, conduct objective medical record reviews, and identify competence concerns.
• Utilize evidence‑based outcomes to study and improve patient care and organizational performance.
• Audit charts, provide feedback, and collaborate with providers to address deficiencies.
• Present performance data to Medical Staff and Hospital Committees and act as liaison between Medical Staff Leadership and Quality Management.

Required profile

• Current Arizona RN license.
• Minimum three years of clinical nursing experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer applications for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
