RN PRN – Cardiac Cath Lab (Temporary)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to support its Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. This temporary, fixed‑term position provides flexible shift coverage for a high‑volume cardiac care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care during cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and assist the interventional cardiology team.
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in patient education and post‑procedure discharge planning.

Required profile

• Active RN license in Arkansas with PRN eligibility.
• Experience in a cardiac cath lab or similar interventional setting preferred.
• Legal authority to work in the United States on day one of employment.
• Ability to work variable shifts, including evenings and weekends.
