About the role
The RN New Graduate Resident Program for Fall 2026 is a structured entry‑level residency designed for recently licensed registered nurses. Participants will receive comprehensive clinical training, mentorship, and educational support while delivering patient care within the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences health system.
Key responsibilities
- Complete assigned clinical rotations across multiple inpatient and outpatient units.
- Participate in daily interdisciplinary team meetings and patient care planning.
- Attend educational workshops, simulation labs, and competency assessments.
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and quality improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Newly licensed Registered Nurse with a degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Authorization to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
- Commitment to start the residency in Fall 2026.
- Strong communication and teamwork orientation.
