RN Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (F5/H5)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) on the F5/H5 unit. This full‑time, regular position provides direct care to critically ill newborns in a collaborative, patient‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neonates in the intensive care setting.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform necessary procedures.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate families about infant care and support them throughout the hospitalization.

Required profile

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
