RN House Supervisor – PRN Nights

About the role

The RN House Supervisor provides administrative and clinical support to ensure high‑quality patient care during night shifts. This PRN position involves rounding, issue resolution, and leadership of nursing staff in the OMC unit on Jeff Hwy.

Key responsibilities

• Round frequently throughout the shift to identify and communicate issues requiring administrative action.
• Supervise and lead nursing staff, ensuring delivery of care based on physical, psycho‑social, educational, and safety criteria.
• Serve as a resource for nursing staff and assist with patient care delivery.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 3 years of acute care experience; critical care or charge nurse experience preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong conflict‑resolution and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and CCRN certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows‑style applications, data entry, and retrieval of patient information.
• Computer skills for electronic health record systems.
